How can I track a reported security risk?

Depending on an organization's asset size and security practices, the amount of vulnerabilities detected may be significant. Manually monitoring and resolving these matters can be a laborious task. As a solution, NVADR offers the Issue Tracker module to address this challenge.

The Issue Tracker module enables users to oversee the resolution progress of identified security risks. Security risk instances that are considered critical and high severity are automatically directed to the Issue Tracker. In addition, users can choose to transfer any listed security risk instance to the Issue Tracker from the Security Risk module.

How to send a security risk instance to the issue tracker?

Within the Security Risks module, there is an alternative available to send a security risk instance to the Issue Tracker. NVADR's Issue Tracker feature permits the organization's administrator to allocate an issue to other designated users for resolution.

  1. Go to All Security risks under the Security Risks section.
  2. In the list layout, at the right-end corner of each security risk instance, is a ‘Send to Issue Tracker’ button.
  3. Click on the ‘Send to Issue Tracker’ button to send an instance to the issue tracker.
  4. The 'Send to issue tracker' pop-up appears.
  5. The pop-up contains the category of the selected security risk instance and a field to assign priority. Priority indicates the importance level at which the issue is to be resolved.
  6. Assign the priority level and Click on 'Add'.
